CPEIA China Petroleum & Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (CPEIA) was founded in 1985. It is a nationwide juridical association approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and voluntarily participated by enterprises and institutions (including R&D institutes and universities) engaged in manufacturing, trading and using of petroleum & petrochemical equipment from different sectors and regions of the country. Most of the 900 member's with different ownerships have already passed the ISO9000 quality system certificates and most of their products are API and ASME certificated.
The top authority of CPEIA is its General Assembly and its executant is the Directorate. The president of CPEIA is taken turns by the leaders of giant enterprises such as CNPC, , SINOPEC and CNOOC. The 6th directorate is constituted by 160 members, including: 53 Standing Directors and 17 Vice Presidents. The present President of CPEIA is Mr. Wang Jiming, the Vice Chairman the board of SINOPEC and the member of Chinese Academy of Engineering.
The headquarter of CPEIA is located in Beijing and the Secretariat takes the routine operations.

The Coal Bed Methane Industry Association of Shanxi Province
Consistent supply and sustainable development of energy resources especially new energy resources are major strategy for global countries. Shanxi Province, China, featured with particular geographic structure, has largest coaled gas reserves over China, and its exploitation is in an infant step. The Coal Bed Methane Industry Association of Shanxi Province was founded in September 2007 to fine-tune exploitation and scientific usage of local coal bed methane reserves. Sponsored by Shanxi Energy Industries Group Co., Ltd and joined by enterprises with expert teams or involved in coal bed methane exploitation, the Association is the sole independent corporate organization & integrated coordination service institute in China coal bed methane industry. The Association is administrated by Development and Reform Committee, Shanxi Provincial People's Government.
Functions of the Association: to establish severe self-management system to regulate industrial competition and market order; to help pin down coal bed methane industrial development plans and related policies; to organize coal bed methane industrial training, technical consulting, technology transactions, scientific problem-tackling, information exchange, Intellectual Property Protection and etc; to organize economic and technical exchange and cooperation between domestic and overseas coal bed methane enterprises; to shoulder other functions authorized by legal sectors, government and the association constitutions.
After the founding of the Association, PetroChina Huabei Oilfield, PetroChina Pipeline Co, Sanxia Fuel Gas Group, Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group, Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co. Ltd, Shanxi Coal Import and Export Group Corporation, Shanxi Taihang Anthracite Development Group, Fortune Oil PLC, Asian American Gas Inc.,Institue of Coal Chemistry,CAS, Shanxi Coal-Mining Geology Bureau, Taiyuan University of technology, Harbin Cryogenic Gas Liquier Part Machinery.Co.,Ltd,and other big enterprises joined in. The association becomes a bridge for enterprises, the government, and the market. It makes all efforts to provide excellent services and is a warm family for coal bed methane enterprises.

The Petroleum Federation of India is an apex Society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector to promote the interests of members through a self regulatory environment with national and consumer interest in sight.
